Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, trustworthy, and experienced Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver to provide dedicated day-to-day support to the Chairman of the company. The successful candidate will provide high-quality personal care and assistance with daily living activities while maintaining the Chairman’s comfort, dignity, safety, privacy, and independence. This is a highly trusted position requiring a caring and respectful individual who is dependable, patient, discreet, and comfortable working closely with the Chairman, his family, and medical professionals.
This is a live-in position, and the successful candidate will be required to reside in the accommodation provided by the family/company.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care & Daily Living Support:
- Assist the Chairman with daily personal care and hygiene, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, and maintaining personal cleanliness and comfort.
- Provide assistance with daily routines while promoting independence and dignity.
- Ensure the Chairman’s personal environment is clean, comfortable, safe, and well organized.
- Assist with meal routines and other day-to-day personal requirements as needed.
- Health & Wellness Support
- Follow care instructions and healthcare plans provided by the Chairman’s doctors, nurses, or other authorized healthcare professionals.
- Assist with prescribed light exercise, mobility routines, and other activities as recommended by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record relevant health observations, such as temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar, or other vital signs where required and within the candidate’s training and scope of responsibility.
- Provide medication reminders and, where specifically authorized and appropriately trained, assist with medication routines in accordance with medical instructions.
- Promptly report any concerns, changes in health, or unusual symptoms to the family or designated healthcare professional.
Mobility & Physical Assistance:
- Assist the Chairman with safe movement around the residence and other environments.
- Provide support when transferring between the bed, chair, wheelchair, vehicle, and other areas.
- Assist with walking and other physical activities where required.
- Maintain a safe environment and take appropriate precautions to minimize the risk of falls or injury.
Companionship & Emotional Support:
- Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate companionship.
- Encourage the Chairman to remain engaged in appropriate social, recreational, and daily activities.
- Provide emotional reassurance, patience, and positive support.
- Maintain a respectful and professional relationship with the Chairman and his family.
Transportation & Escort:
- Accompany the Chairman to medical appointments, hospital visits, personal appointments, errands, social activities, and recreational outings.
- Where required and legally permitted, drive the Chairman safely to and from appointments and activities.
- Ensure punctuality, comfort, and safety during all journeys.
- Assist with appointment schedules and ensure relevant personal items or medical documents are available when required.
Observation & Reporting:
- Observe and promptly communicate any changes in the Chairman’s health, mobility, mood, behavior, appetite, sleep, or general wellbeing.
- Maintain appropriate records of care activities, appointments, observations, and other relevant information where required.
- Escalate any medical or safety concerns promptly to the family or designated healthcare professional.
- Maintain clear communication regarding the Chairman’s daily care and requirements.
Communication & Coordination:
- Work closely and respectfully with family members, nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow professional medical and care instructions accurately.
- Support continuity of care by ensuring important information is communicated appropriately.
- Maintain professionalism and discretion when interacting with family members, visitors, medical staff, and other individuals.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant, Caregiver, Healthcare Assistant, Private Caregiver, or similar role is preferred.
- Experience caring for elderly individuals or individuals requiring mobility and daily-living assistance is an advantage.
- Experience working in a private household or supporting a senior executive/family is an advantage.

- Strong Communication Skills: Communicates clearly, patiently, and respectfully with the Chairman, family members, and medical professionals.
Certifications & Training:
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is strongly preferred.
- Relevant caregiving, nursing assistant, healthcare, or personal care training is an advantage.
- Candidates with recognized healthcare or caregiving qualifications will be given preference.
Language Skills:
- Good English communication skills are required.
- Arabic-speaking ability is an added advantage.
- Availability & Living Arrangement
- This is a live-in position.
- The successful candidate is required to reside in the accommodation provided as part of the role.
- Willingness to work flexible hours depending on the Chairman’s care requirements and schedule.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, public holidays, and overnight hours when required.
- Flexibility to accompany the Chairman for medical appointments, travel, or other activities when required.
